Cookie Policy
Cookies are small files a website places on your device to remember settings between visits or measure usage. This page lists the cookies Peaklyft uses, what each one does, and how long it lives.
The categories
Strictly necessary
- cc_cookie — stores your cookie consent choices. 6 months.
- PHPSESSID — keeps your contact form session and CSRF token valid. Session only, deleted when you close the browser.
Analytics (off by default)
- _pkft_visits — an anonymous, aggregated page-view counter we use to know which journal articles are read most. 13 months.
- _pkft_uid — a randomly assigned visitor ID, used only to de-duplicate page views from the same browser. 13 months.
Marketing (off by default)
- _fbp — if you opt in, used for Facebook/Instagram retargeting. 90 days.
- _gcl_aw — Google Ads conversion tracking, only if you arrived via a paid Google placement. 90 days.
How to change your choices
Click the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer to re-open the consent panel at any time. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings; the next page load will show the banner again.
Third-party cookies on linked sites
Pages we link out to (Google Maps, Instagram, WhatsApp) may set their own cookies. Those are governed by the linked site's policy, not by Peaklyft's.
